At 135 g, DJI Neo is DJI's lightest and most compact aerial videographer. [2] Take off and land on your palm effortlessly, and capture cinematic footage with YOU in focus. The DJI Neo Drone has a Takeoff Weight of approximately 135 g and dimensions of 130×157×48.5 mm (L×W×H). Its Max Ascent Speed varies by mode: 0.5 m/s in Cine mode, 2 m/s in Normal mode, and 3 m/s in Sport mode, while the Max Descent Speed is 0.5 m/s in Cine mode and 2 m/s in both Normal and Sport modes. The Max Horizontal Speed is 6 m/s in Normal mode, 8 m/s in Sport mode, and 16 m/s in Manual mode. The Max Takeoff Altitude is 2000 m.

The Max Flight Time is approximately 18 minutes, reducing to 17 minutes with the Propeller Guards. Each allows the DJI Neo Drone to perform at least 20 palm takeoff and landing sequences. The Max Hovering Time is also about 18 minutes (17 minutes with Propeller Guards). The drone can fly a Max Distance of 7 km and resist wind speeds up to 8 m/s (Level 4). It operates in temperatures between -10°C and 40°C (14°F to 104°F) and is classified under C0 (EU).

The Camera of the DJI Neo Drone features a 1/2-inch image sensor and a Lens with a Field of View (FOV) of 117.6°, equivalent to a 14 mm lens with an Aperture of f/2.8. It has an ISO Range of 100-6400 for both Auto and Manual modes, and a Shutter Speed ranging from 1/8000-1/30 s for video and 1/8000-1/10 s for photos. The camera can capture 12 MP Photos at resolutions of 4000×3000 (4:3) and 4000×2256 (16:9), and it supports Single/Timed Shot photography modes, saving images in JPEG format.

The Video Resolution supports up to 4K (4:3) at 30fps and 1080p (4:3) at up to 60fps with EIS Off. With EIS On, the resolution supports up to 4K (16:9) at 30fps and 1080p (16:9) at up to 60fps. The video is saved in MP4 format with a maximum bitrate of 75Mbps. The drone supports RockSteady and HorizonBalancing for stabilization when using a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Gimbal features a single-axis mechanical tilt stabilization, with a Controllable Range of -90° to 60° and a Max Control Speed of 100°/s.

The Sensing System includes Downward Visual Positioning, allowing for precise hovering between 0.5-10 m on non-reflective, discernible surfaces in well-lit environments (lux > 15). The Wi-Fi Protocol supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, with operating frequencies between 2.400-2.4835 GHz and 5.725-5.850 GHz, depending on the region. The Effective Operating Range is 50 m in an outdoor environment free of interference. Additionally, it supports Bluetooth 5.1.
